Back to the famous MED CUP 2023 speed shooting competition which took place this year in May at the Provence Shooting Club in Aix en Provence.
An event that brought together 11 nations, including French and international competitors who came exclusively to complete the 18 stages that could be shot in one and a half days.
Four days of competition that brought out the very essence of the values of the sport of shooting: conviviality, solidarity, team spirit and surpassing oneself.
A few days ago the MED CUP (Mediterranean Cup) 🏆 2023 toasted to the honor of these 4 days of competitions in 18 shooting stages, which were a great success greeted by the French and international competitors who came especially from the four corners of the world to take up the challenges of this Speed Sport Shooting event.
The famous competition took place this year under the sun of Aix-en-Provence☀️, on the Provence Shooting Club site which had the pleasure to welcome the participants from Wednesday 3rd to Sunday 7th May 2023 on its shooting range!
More than 450 shooters from 11 different nationalities came to live a unique experience around the competition and the practice of sport shooting 🔫.
The matches, dividing the various squads of shooters over the week, each contained 18 stages shot in 1 and a half days during which the competitors showed remarkable prowess by surpassing themselves in each event.
Conviviality, respect, team spirit and surpassing oneself, which correspond to the values of the practice of shooting sports, were naturally mixed with the atmosphere of this event.
The MED CUP 2023 ended on a beautiful note with a closing meal during which the president, Stéphane MARTEAU d’AUTRY, wished to congratulate the French and international competitors, as well as to thank very warmly the whole organization, the partners, the helpers, the referees, the members of the Staff and the MED CUP team, who helped in this project and who provided remarkable efforts to make this competition a memorable experience.

The Provence Tir Club is happy to count among the winners of the podium, following the raffle of the event, two of its members who were the happy owners of a BERETTA 92X pistol and a gift certificate worth 1800 € on the CZ brand.
On this occasion, the president also received gracious distinctions from the French Shooting Federation to honor his commitment in the contribution and in the implementation of structures to perpetuate the essence of the sport and the practice of the sportsman.
This 4 days competition was rich in emotions and allowed to release a very beautiful energy, but also to forge more the spirit of the TSV in Provence.
The MED CUP team as well as the President are looking forward to meet the participants and the future members who will join the next edition!
